I wrote a post last year covering a few ways to save big $$$ on your cell phone bill À la carte or Buffet – The $20 Cell Phone Plan. At the time $20/month was the cheapest way to get it all – voice – data and text messaging.

But that was LY and now it’s 2020 and I’ve found a way to decrease my cell phone bill by another 35%. I’ve made the switch to Public and I now pay a total of $156/yr for my cell phone. That’s not per MONTH that’s per YEAR. Again a 35% decrease over LY when I was with Koodo on what I thought then was a ridiculously cheap plan.

Even if you’re not into searching around for free Wi-Fi to reduce your consumption – Public Mobile has your back. There have a couple of plans for heavy data and voice users as well.

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and make the switch. Use this code 05VW92 or link when you activate with Public Mobile you will get a $10 credit on your account and this wonderful blog will get $1 – Thanks!

Stop being a consuma sucka when it comes to your monthly cell phone bill and start paying for only what you need to use. Pay less for less. Stay frugal my friends.

    1. I heard that Rogers has an unlimited plan – similar to what has been offered in the states for years. For now Public seems like the best value out there for people that know exactly what they consume.

    1. Great advice. It seems that everything is going up every year. Things like your cell phone bill, internet and insurance should be looked at every year. I swear that the companies just hope that no one does this. Thanks for the comment.
